I am not a huge Adam Sandler fan - it's sort of hit and miss - but this one always makes me smile. The plot is a little up and down - you go from being amused to a little repulsed but for the most part, it's a good movie. "50 First Dates" stars Sandler with Drew Barrymore. The movie has it's flat spots and honestly, I could do without Rob Schneider's character, but in the end, it's a very sweet love story. Nick and I still laugh to this day (and it's been several years since we've first seen this movie) whenever we hear the Beach Boys "Wouldn't it be Nice".
It's a sweet movie, not a typical Adam Sandler thing if that's what you are looking for. He and Drew Barrymore are good together and when all else fails, it's a good movie to pop in to show that some guys will love you no matter what.
